AFC Urmston Meadowside Annual Soccer Festival 2006/2007 - Feedback
Here's some feedback from some who attended the tournament/festival in
previous years...
"Just a quick note to say that the girls really enjoyed their first
taste of festival football and I am sure they will be back for more next
year. Hopefully by then we will have more than one team to enter.
It was a fun, well organised day and once again thanks for the invite.
Will see you again soon.
Kind regards,
Paul Caddick
Hough End Griffins JFC.

"I have been meaning to send you a message to thank you & your
Club for the well organised tournament / day we entered as an Under 9's
team on Saturday 6th May 2006. We progressed through to the Semi finals
but unfortunately got knocked out by the team who won it (I think it was
a club from Hazel Grove). If you were to have another tournament next year
we would definitely be interested in entering either an Under 9's or 10's.
Many thanks again & we wish you all the best and hope to see you next year.
Best Regards,
Gary Pennington
on behalf of Highfield Grange Fc (Wigan)"
"
Just a quick note to say how well organised your tournament was,
last year our team BAC/EE Preston got to the under 12's final only to be beaten
on penalties. However, this year the lads were determined to go one better
which they did by winning the under 13's final. The level of competition is
very good with very friendly people. We thoroughly enjoyed the tournament and
will be returning next year to defend our trophy. I would recommend any team
to enter your future tournaments, they are well run, teams get plenty of games
and last but not least very friendly and helpful people running the event.
Once again thanks. Phil Winster BAC/EE Preston under 13's Manager"
