"Motty" presents Award to Meds (Jan 09)

Senior members of the Club were recently invited to the Manchester FA Grassroots Gala Dinner where Meds was presented with the FA Charter Standard Community Club of the Year plaque for 2008. This follows our very successful year where the Club won both the Manchester FA award and the North West of England award. The presentation was made to the Club by the legendary football commentator John Motson (yes, he did wear his sheepskin coat for his after dinner speech).
