1st 30 mins:
Meds attack straight from the kick off, ends up as a goal kick. Another attack builds and Eddie shoots but is wide. Chadderton getting in the game and slowly edging their way forward but our new defence is solid. Meds attack again and some nice pass and move football sees Joe B lay on to Jordan who slots the ball home to start us off positively. End to end football but Meds attack again, Ryan shoots and it's saved, another attack, Joe B shoots, it's saved. Meds awarded a free kick, keeper saves. Another Meds attack, Eddie shoots but it's wide, another Meds attack, Eddie sends a cross in, keeper saves. Another Meds attack, Eddie crosses the ball in again, Andy sends it way over the crossbar! Unlucky! Chadderton attack and breach our defence for the first time, they shoot but Rob saves! Meds caught offside, Chadderton corner, Chadderton awarded a free kick, sent wide. Meds again, this time Jordan shoots, keeper saves. Whistle blown.

2nd 30 Mins:
We made a few changes, the starting subs getting their chance to show us what they have.
Within minutes of the kick off, Joe Thomas scores a weird goal, rebounds off the keeper, back onto Joe and rolls into the net!
Meds attack, Ryan sends a cross in and the keeper saves. Meds attack, Kaelan shoots, over the crossbar! Meds attack, Joe B shoots, keeper saves, Meds corner that breaks down. Chadderton attack, corner. Chadderton awarded a free kick. Meds attack, Jordan shoots, results in a corner that breaks down. Meds attack, Ryan crosses, keeper saves. Meds attack, Joe T shoots, over the bar. Clevon crosses the ball in, Joe B shoots scores but it's offside! Meds attack, Ryan shoots, saved. Chadderton goal kick, their attack breaks down and Meds reply with an attack of their own, some lovely touches from Jordan who taps one home, over the keeper, nice goal! Two more Meds attacks both see Joe T shooting on goal and saved both times. Whistle blown.

3rd 30 Mins:
Again, changes made, rotating players to see who can play where.
Meds attack, Eoin shoots but it's wide, goal kick. Chadderton attack, shoot but wide, goal kick. Meds attack, Andy B shoots and hits the post! ooh! Chadderton attack, shoot but wide. Meds attack, Eddie this time finds the net with a good strike through one defender and passed the goalie! Chadderton attack, awarded a free kick, Rob saves. Meds attack, Andy B shoots wide! Meds attack, Joe T shoots, saved, but Andy B is there for the loose ball and finds the net, goal! Meds attack, this time it's Joe Barlow, go on shoot Joe! He does and scores! Chadderton never giving up, attack, awarded a free kick and Rob saves! One last Meds attack, Kaelan shoots and the keeper saves! Final whislte blown.

Chadderton Juniors are a good team. If they would have played us last season it could have gone either way. Since we strengthend our squad, our defence now seems tighter and stronger, our midfield, more pace,strength and movement, stikers can find the net more and not give up if they miss. We were a bit sloppy or shapeless at times, but this is to be expected until we can settle into a consistant team and play regular fixtures.
