18.9.10 - AFC Partington vs Urmston Meds Vikings

This friendly match was a great success and did everything we wanted it to, despite losing 0-2. We showed great improvement as individual players and as a squad, looking stronger, quicker and better organised. We dominated the play for long periods, and with a little luck and more composure in front of goal we would have come away as winners for sure. Every single player contributed a great deal to our performance, but Harry was awarded Player of the Match after an all action display, chasing every ball and tackle from defence and midfield - more of the same please!

Sincere thanks again to our supporters, very vocal, and I'm sure you give the players a big lift!
