11/09 Boca Vs Broardheath Central Sharks (away)

Boca looked to continue their brilliant start to their under 10's season against Broardheath in their 1st away game of the season.

1st period
Boca went out and played there high tempo game from the whistle. With broardheath playing 3 up front and 3 at the back, it gave boca the freedom in midfield that players like Jack, kallum and matty thrive upon. The boys pressed hard for 10 minutes and were rewarded with a Danny Williams goal set up by Jack DZT. Smelling a 2nd goal Boca continued there relentless pressure and were rewarded again with a Matty Gallagher, with Jack DZT again setting up the goal. After this goal Joe Weems came on to make his long awaited re-appearance and looked liked he'd never been away.

2nd period
Broardheath came out looking for a early goal and Boca were ready for the fight back. Boca several times broke out on the counter attack and were unlucky not score several goals. Late into the game Boca went on the attack again and got a corner , which Matty Gallagher went to take spotting a gap at the back post Matty curled the ball high and fast to score from the corner flag!!!

3rd period
At 3-0 Boca looked to increase their lead further and Matty was looking for his 1st Hat-rik for Boca. Kallum sent Matty on his way with a brilliant through ball down the middle to set Matty up for his hat-rik BBOOOOOMMM Boca 4 - 0 Broardheath and Matty got his hat-rik. But he wasn't done there, 5mins later Matty got on the end of another Jonesy ball to make it 5-0!!
